I'm under 18 and can't sign up?
In accordance with US law if under 18, members cannot participate in auctions as they legal binding contracts.
What is IDV on the registration page?
ID Verification is to show other people that you are taking the proper steps to get yourself verified and to help protect the community from theft. IDV shows you have completed 2 of the 3 verification steps. Once you click "Yes" on the registration page. You will need to go to the members area and click on the ID Verification link and hit proceed to go to a payment processor as we charge $5.00 to get verified but you get a $5.00 credit after the process is complete which includes address verification.
What is "Referred by Bonus"?
This is a bonus we give out when you are referred by another member. Check out the referrals section in the member’s area for more information.
What is the Charity Field for?
The Charity field is for you to enter a charity you "Support" like "The American heart Association". This field isn't for you to make up your own charity as it will only be deleted and may cause you to lose account Privileges.
What if I don't agree to your Terms of Service?
You will need to accept our "Terms of Service" or you will not be able to become a member of My Auction Planet.

How to Bid
If My Auction Planet Safe?
My Auction Planet uses SSL to protect your information during the sign up and sign in process. My Auction Planet does not collect personal finacial information. Thrird party payment processors that most already know and trust, like PayPal and Google Checkout, are used to protect your personal information. Most of the services we use offer buyer protection.
How can I place a bid?
To place a bid on an item you must first create or login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place you chosen bid or simply "Buy it Now".
How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?
You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your member’s area and selecting the "bidding" page.
How do I know if I am outbid on an item?
The My Auction Planet system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid, unless you turn off notifications in your preferences.
What is "Item Watch"?
This lists all the items you are watching. While you are browsing the auctions and see items of interest, you can add them to your "Item Watch" and you will get notification when the items are going to be ending giving you a chance to login and bid on that item. Members can also use the desktop "Auction Watcher" that will send you desktop notifications of status of items you are watching in your members area. Simply download this service found under any auction item's main picture using the "Download" link under the phrase "Your Auction Watcher is here!"
What are "Swap Offers"?
This is a "Bartering System" where 2 members can work out a trade rather then selling the item for money.
How can I check if I won an item?
Members can check if you won an item by going to the "Members Area" and clicking on the "Won" link under "All buying". This area will list all the items you have won within the last 30 days.
How can I check if I "Didn't Win" an item?
You can check if you "Didn't Win" an item by going to the "Members Area" and clicking on the "Didn't Win" link under "All buying". This area will list all the items you didn't win within the last 30 days.
What are "Offers Placed"?
This can be found in the "Members Area" under "Offers Placed". This area lists all the offers you have placed on items while browsing the auctions.
What are "Personalized Picks"?
This is a recommended product selection based on activity you have done on My Auction Planet. It will give you featured products you might like as well as items from sellers you have purchased items from. This is located in the "Members Area" under "All Buying".
How can I see all my Bidding items at once?
You can hit the "All Buying" link in the "Members Area" and this will display all the items at once associated with items you are bidding on, won, watching as well as a summary chart at the top of the screen.
How do I report a Listing I believe is Fraudulent?
You can report abuse on any item by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and hitting the "Report Abuse" link. If you wish to "Report Abuse" on a specific member, you can visit the "Members Area" under "All Selling" and hit the "Abuse Report" link.
ID Verification
I did the id verify and got an email about 20 minutes ago that I was verified, but my members area shows I am not and when I go to list it say I can do 5 trial listings
The ID Verify system is a manual function for now. We review each new user. This is to protect other user's safety.
Selling
How can I list an item?
You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description.
Why will my picture not show up in my listing
We limit the size of the file to 1MB. Is the picture too large for the upload system.
How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your member’s area and selecting the "selling" page.
Can I use HTML when listing an item?
Yes you can, We have included a HTML tool bar or you can enter your own HTML coding but we recommend that you use our toolbar as your own coding may not work properly. My Auction Planet has a protection system to ensure members do not break the frames of the site. You can test your own coding and hit the preview button.
How can I see all the items I am selling at once?
You can hit the "All Selling" link in the "Members Area" and this will display all the items at once associated with items you are selling, items with Bids, Scheduled items, ended items as well as a summary chart at the top of the screen with reminder for payment or shipping of items.
What are "Scheduled items"?
When you list items for sale, you are given an option to start the auctions in the near future. This area lists all the items that you are selling but haven't started as of yet. You can find a list of scheduled items in the "Members Area" under "All Selling".
Can I keep track of all the items I am selling?
Yes, Our system keeps track of all your items that you are selling. You can see all the items you are selling by visiting the "Members Area" under "All Selling" where you will find a link for "Selling".
How can I tell if I sold an item?
You can view all the items sold in the "Members Area" under "All Selling. Hit the sold link and it will display the list of all items sold.
How can I edit my auction?
You can edit any of your auctions by visiting the "Members Area" under "All Selling" section. If you click on the selling tab, in this section you can Edit you auction. You will be limited to editing if bids have been placed on your item. When editing an item ensure you review all input fields. Some of them will default to an empty setting to ensure you have the same selling intent. "List til Sold" auctions will default back to a two week auction since these types of auctions were never meant to be edited. "List til Sold" auctions should be deleted and posted again if they need to be edited.
Can I "Relist" my ended Auctions?
You can relist any of your ended auctions by visiting the "Members Area" under "All Selling" section. If you click on the ended tab, in this section you can Relist or Delete your ended auctions.
Stores
How Do I Create A Store?
You must go to the "Members" area and then click on the "My Store" link. Make sure you choose your store level and URL, then activate the store before you edit the store information.
How Do I Post In My Store?
When selling make sure you choose the "Store" or "Both" option. The "Both" option will post on the site and within your store.
Member Area
How do I upload My Avatar/Picture?
Go to the member area link, then go to the "Personal Information" link on the left side of the page. Once there, scroll down until you see the AVATAR section. You can upload your own picture or pick from our stock avatars. Make sure you click on the "Update" button just below the section you are working on and not the one at the bottom of the page.
What is the Members Area?
The member’s area is like your own personal space. In the members area you will find all the tools and gadgets you need to keep track of items you sell, bid or buy as well as keeping track of things you are watching. You can customize this area and add some nice features like "Google Gadgets". You can search each item and it's use for more information. You will find the following in the "Members Area".

Can I write my own "Review"?
