My Auction Planet will be free for life for the first 500 sellers:
New and existing members will have to have a credit applied to their account to ensure lifetime fees are covered.
New members will be required to post at least 10 items for sale within 7 days of joining to qualify for the lifetime credit.
The Credit will appear as a large financial credit to keep the site accounting functions intact
Credit is not available for cash withdrawal.
Members that do not adhere to My Auction Planet terms and conditionswill be disqualified.
New members will be required to verify their account via PayPal or through requesting address/phone # lookup in the US only (cell phones prohibited) - If we are unable to verify either through reverse lookup the offer will be void.
PayPal verification will require members to either be a Premier account or Business account holder with a verified address - open to US, United Kingdom, and Australia only.
Any auction website that states that they will be free forever has a business model that is going to lose. After we have our 1000 verified sellers we will be looking to implement three different levels of membership.
The first level will be for new members who join for free to purchase products. If they ever do decide to sell, then they will have a small Final Value Fee. There will be no insertion costs for posting products on My Auction Planet. This structure will also benefit members who only have a small amount of products to sell.
The second level of membership will be for new members who have an interest in selling in greater numbers. This membership will have a small yearly membership fee and will include a store on the My Auction Planet system. The price point has not been established for this membership level. There will be no insertion fee for Final Value Fee.
The third level of membership will be limited to the next 1000 members who decide to participate. These members will be able to join as a "Free for Life" member for a higher price point that has not been set at this point.
The best idea is to join as a "Free for Life" member now at no cost.
